Why choose a podiatrist?
Unlike a cosmetic pedicure, podiatry focuses on your foot health.
Treatment is performed using sterilised instruments in a clinical environment, with attention to underlying conditions that may be contributing to recurring problems or discomfort.
Our goal isn't simply to make your feet look better—it's to keep them healthy, comfortable and functioning well.
FAQS
-
Most treatments are comfortable. If an area is particularly tender, treatment is modified to keep you as comfortable as possible.
-
This varies between individuals. Many patients attend every 6–10 weeks, while others only come when needed.
-
Yes. Thick nails can usually be safely reduced to improve comfort. If a fungal infection is suspected, we can also discuss treatment options.
-
Corns often return if the underlying pressure remains. We'll explain why they've developed and discuss ways to reduce recurrence.
-
Not everyone does.
Some people only require occasional treatment, while others—particularly older adults or those unable to reach their feet comfortably—benefit from regular maintenance appointments.
We'll recommend a review schedule based on your individual needs rather than automatically booking ongoing visits.
